 A triangle roof was used because a triangle has equally distributed weights so the roof would be more stable and easier to support. But this cannot be used as foundation but instead 2 parallel lines that make a rectangular shape as base to make the base steadier to hold the structures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The pillars in the house show a line-plane intersection where the pillar and the roof intersect at one point, this helps support the roof and the building. This also show post and lintel for these for each pair are congruent measure to make the support more stable.

Most modern houses follow a cube shape wherein they have no triangular roof. We chose to have a triangular roof due to the fact that triangles are the most stable shape and no matter how much pressure is added, its shape wont change.
