Parallel lines are important for structures because it provides stability and thickness. How far apart they are or how thick the structure is determines how durable it is. If it is thick, it will last longer and through more natural disasters. It provides stability because for the pillars, if it is thicker, the more force it would take to make it fall or collapse.
Plane intersection postulate helps in maximizing the space within the area. It can help in connecting two or more buildings (intersecting them). It can also provide more stability because when the planes intersect, for example the two walls, it can act as an edge and another pillar for the structure.
Line intersection for the flagpole because when the pole and the base intersect they intersect at a point which makes the weight at a single point for a sturdier structure.
The four buildings make a rectangle and the space inside it is maximized for activities. It has a normal shape so that it is easy to build and it is not an irregular difficult shape.
